How to put a label on the landscape

I want to put a few labels inside a (polygonal) landscape (so to link a mountain with a label name), and positioning the label at Azi/Alt (or same coordinate system as the polygonal text file). Is there a way to do that? Thanks for your help.

Not yet as built-in feature. You can of course make an image-based landscape and add labels into the PNGs. Using a script you can also add images to alt/az positions, but I think no text labels. May be worth an addition though!

The feature has been merged into trunk, will be available in next version.
