FOV difference between bottom of screen and telescope/eyepiece view

Asked by Robert Conrad

When I set up the telescope and eyepiece information it shows for example that my FOV is 1.25 degrees but if I look at the bottom of the screen it shows FOV = 2.5 degrees. So why the difference? Does the circle show the 1.25 degrees or the 2.5 degree view?

The fov in the lower menu is the vertical extent of the display. The fov in the ocular panel is the diameter of the ocular circle.
