Asteroid 2004BL86
How can I add asteroid 2004BL86 to Stellarium? I have tried to no avail, even from looking at the list of asteroids in Stellarium and it is not listed there.

Alexander,
I looked at the link you sent me and I have already tried that solution as I said in my question I posted.
I'm still using Stellarium 0.12.4 because I tried the new version Stellarium has out which would nor work
correctly so I uninstalled it and went back to the older version. In 0.12.4 the asteroid is not in the list of
objects or N.E.O.'s I will try the latest version that's out again and see what happens. I hope they have
worked out all of the bugs in it. Thank you for your reply. If I have no luck this I will email you back if that
is ok with you.
Greg

Alexander,
Ok, I uninstalled 0.12.4, installed the latest version but I'm still having a problem with the new one. Everything works ok except the labels for the planets. On the names the bottom portion of the labels is broken up. It's like when you are printing something on your printer and it's running out of black ink (if you are printing in black & white) only. I cannot seem to find a fix for that at the website.

Can you show first 25 lines from latest run log?
Hint: Start -> Programs -> Stellarium -> Latest run log

Alexander,
Give me a few minutes to dig that up ok. I'm not used to having to pull up information like that out of the computer.

Alexander,
When I try to launch Stellarium this window comes up. "Open GL subsystem has problems. See log for details. Ignore and suppress this notice in the future and try to continue in degraded mode any way."
When I try that the same thing happens. So now let me see if I can dig up the other info you need.

Alexander
I hope this helps but it is not 25 lines.

This is not enough: we need GLSL1.30 or later.
You should update graphics drivers, graphics hardware, or use the MESA version.
Else, please try to use an older version like 0.12.4, and try there with --safe-mode
You can try to run in an unsupported degraded mode by ignoring the warning and continuing.
But more than likely problems will persist.

Alexander,
I'll try those two versions of software and see if it helps. I updated the graphics card from an update HP sent me but have found another update that I will have to check out first before installing it since my card is old. I will let you know what happens. Thank you for you help on this matter. For the time being I will leave the question open ok.

For Windows x64 you can try 0.13.2-ANGLE also. But in any case any 32-bit software should works on 64-bit system.

Alexander,
I installed the 32-bit version and it's working fine. Now do you know if Stelarium even has Asteroid 2004 BL86 in it's listings of comets, asteroids etc ? As I mentioned before it's not listed in the 0.12.4 version.

You should add them - all "missing" asteroids and comets, who you want :)
