Distance to 16 CMa (HIP 33152)

Hello,
Information displayed for star in Canis Major constellation named 16 CMa or HIP 33152 which is visible to naked eye show 14825 light-years! is it possible to see a star this way at such distance? seems to be wrong... isn't it?

16 CMa has parallax 0.22 mas, or, if we recalculate parallax to distance - 4.545 kpc or 14824 light years. But (!) error of measurement of the parallax for this star is 0.43 mas!
