Necesitaría poder actualizar los datos de la versión 0.13 para poder encontrar el cometa C/2014 Q2 pero no pasa de la actualización 5 de 9

If you want to update comet elements, use the Solar System Editor plugin. Load the List of comets from MPC and select what you need. (Do not use the single-object search, it's buggy at the moment.)
