Stellarium

View milkyway

I have downloaded Stellarium on my desktop. It is also on my smart phone. I can see the milky way on my smartphone, however I can't seem to get it to show on my desktop. I assume I have some setting wrong but can't figure it out. Any help to view the milky way would be greatly appreciated.

[F4] or Sky and viewing options window from side bar

Set the level of milky way brightness range 0..10

to keep the setting go Configuration window [F2] and press "save settings'' button

You can change brightness of the Milky Way in settings of the Stellarium (View -> Sky)
