Installing over previous versions

On my Dell laptop I currently have Stellarium 12.4 running, do I need to uninstall that version before Stellarium 13.0 is installed ?

Usually it's OK to just install over it, but make sure to "delete ssystem.ini" etc. If you have some sophisticated own config, you should save this first and edit the new files.
