Screen breaks up

Asked by David Taylor

Have a new HP Laptop running Win 8.1, .5 processor with Intel HD graphics 4400 sharing main memory.
Stellarium starts OK but I have had trouble with the screen breaking up into coloured flashing shapes, I've now narrowed this down to only happening if I enable either the equatorial or azimuth grids.
Have tried several 64bit and 32bit versions and various frame rates also full screen and in window and different display sizes.
Also tried fallback mode but the problem persists.

Are you have up-to-dated drivers for graphics card (not from Microsoft updates!)?

Errm, fallback mode? Did you try version 0.13 or something earlier? A 64bit version is not available yet.
Please send log file from V0.13!

If nothing works, the MESA version should always work.

Tried pretty much every version available but didn't fix it.
Have downloaded V 0.13.0 and it seems to have fixed the problem
Only thing I can't get to work is the Solar System editor to update comets but that may be the server, will try later.

Thanks Dave
