Onscreen buttons for zooming in/out missing

Asked by Andreas Mischke

Feature Request:
Working with Stellarium on a Windows 8 tablet works pretty well, but what is missing are buttons in the lower button bar to zoom in and to zoom out. Bringing up the onscreen keyboard from the Windows Desktop again and again is not a good option on a tablet.

A button for centering an object (space key on the keyboard) is already there. Next to it buttons for zooming would fit well.
They could be made optional like the buttons for showing nebula images or mirroring the view (flip buttons) which are controlled by checkboxes in the configuration / navigation window.

Why you do not use fingers for zooming?

:-) This was my first idea, of course. But the two finger zooming gestures for zooming or rotating don't work in Stellarium.
I wasn't sure if any non Metro app should understand multi-touch gestures. If it should, it is a bug.
