Stellarium

NexStar 5 not working

Version 0.12.0
NexStar 5 (original) will not work with Stellarium. Using a direct connection to the RS232 port on my XP laptop. Telescope configured to Com1. Alignment done before connecting to Stellarium and scope set to RS232 mode. Scope works with NSOL. Virtual scope in Stellarium working.

I need to do some research first, but if it's an original NexStar 5, it's possible that it uses an older version of the NexStar commands that is not supported by Stellarium.

Have got it working with C2A, with the ASCOM driver installed. Still not working with Stellarium though.

Reverted to an older version of Stellarium and tried Stellarium Scope with the ASCOM driver - also not working.
