Using Google Nexus 7 to control Scope

Would it be possible to use the google nexus 7 tablet to run Stellarium and control my telescope from it?

It possible in future - right now Stellarium for Android doesn't support plugins.

Would it not be possible to download the full stellarium PC onto the nexus 7 rather than the app?

No, because Nexus 7 runs under Android.

I see. Would there be any plans in the near future to make stellarium control the telescope via the nexus. I would really like to buy the nexus for all of its features, however think I might have to opt for a netbook to get the control.

We have those plans but not for near future.
