Search doesn't find satellite TIANGONG

Asked by Paul Gilmartin

TIANGONG 1 appears in satellites.json. It shows in the
viewer if I know where to look. I can remove it with the
plugin configuration tool; it vanishes from satellites.json.
I reinstall it with the config tool; it reappears in
satellites.json.

But Search won't find it. I copied and pasted TIANGONG
from satellites.json to the Search window to make sure I
had no typos. Still not found. No such problem with other
satellites, such as ISS.

I have the same issue. Windows Vista.

You can double click on TIANGONG 1 in the satellites list. It will be found. Also search will find it through NORAD 37820.

It seems that all satellites with names that start with letters (O - Z) cannot be found through search by name, but can be found by their catalog #.

Agreed with Khalid. It finds "NOAA 15" and "NORAD 37820", but not "OAO".
I edited satellites.json to change the name to "CHINESE TIANGONG 1",
and that works. Failures seem to default to "ATLAS CENTAUR 2",
the first entry in satellites.json.

Problem does not occur with:
