I think I temporary solved the problem now. After I use the Stellarium (no OpenGL2) , everything is fine. But I am wondering why because my notebook is using Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphic card with 8GB RAM. How come it fails to display anything in normal stellarium?

A defective OpenGL driver. Very common with Windows.

I am having the exact same problem on my Gateway laptop. It uses an Intel(R) HD Graphics card. At least that is what it says.

Hi again. I found the fix that works for me: I need to open Stellarium (noOpen GL2). It is one of the programs listed in All Programs, under Stellarium.

Then all my ocular views, sensors, etc work.

Can you help with this problem?
