Are the calculations of the RA/DE(J2000) ephemeries accurate ?

Asked by Hubert Rehberger

For instance RA/DE(J2000) coordinates for Uranus are:
2200-06-17 15:46:48 = 5h45m33.9s
2012-06-17 15:46:58 = 0h30m52.4s
1800-06-17 15:51:31 = 11h46m10s

If I compare these values with Swiss Ephemeries e.g. www.astro.com/swisseph/swetest.htm
I get different values !
e.g. Start date = 17.06.1800 / full precision ehpemeries JPL DE 406 / other options -j2000 -ut13:46:48
The result is: 11h43min37s and not 11h46m10s as calculated in Stellarium 0.11.0

The difference of Alcyone is much bigger:
My ephemeris-calculator says: RA (J2000) = 59Deg59min35sec
And Stellarium: 3h47min29.1s (which is: 56Deg52min12sec)

That makes a difference of about 3 Degrees.

Stellarium also use linear model for proper motions of stars.
