Win 7 64 bit not launch

Asked by jim kline

As soon as I launch Stellarium with either (No Open GL2), or normally I get the windows close program screen. I had Stellarium running on my laptop on XP Pro no problem, but won't run on Win 7 64 bit. I read the notes of upgrading drivers from Intel and tried that, and no luck. I also deleted the folder under users/james/appdata/......and reinstalled the program.

Here is my current log file.

If you have a PC/notebook with Intel chipset, you may also need to update the chipset drivers. This helped recently.
Good Luck!

I have migrated over to a new HP laptop, with Win 7 and the program seems to run fine, so I don't want to have anyone spend more time on why my old machine doesn't work. Appreciate all the support.
