Cannot save current date and time

Asked by Robert Burns Wadley

Dear Sirs:

I am now on Win7. With Stellarium 10.6.1 I can enter the current date and time and use it for the entire session.

However, the next time I use the program, I have to reset the date and time.

Is there a way for the program to remember my setting?

Please advise.

Open the config dialog [F2], go to navigation tab, in "startup date and time" choose "system date and time", go back to the main tab and click "save settings".

If you find that the simulated sky is offset from the real sky by some hours, make sure you have set your location (location dialog [F6] -> set location, check "use as default"), and also that your operating system clock _and operating system system timezone settings_ are correct for your location).
