Return to default location

Is there a simpler way to return to the default location other than searching for it and selecting it again?

Do you mean default viewpoint or geographical location?

I mean geographical location. Suppose I select another city, then after I'm done, to go back to my default location I have to go to the location window, search for my default location and select it again, Or restart stellarium.

So, my question is there a direct way to go back to my default city?

No, this feature not implemented. You need create a feature request for it.

Also you can use workaround for this feature - in begin of script you can run getObserverLocation() and store results into some variable. In end of script you can run setObserverLocation() with data from stored variable.
