Apparent retrograde motion for planets

Asked by Christer H

Hi!
When displaying the planetary tracks I would also like to see the dates and the apparent retrograde motion for the outer planets. This function is available in, for example, Sky Map.

Thanx!

What do you mean by "planetary tracks" - the orbit lines (toggled with O) or the trails (toggled with Shift+T)?

Also, what do you mean by "the dates"?

What is wrong with the "apparent retrograde motion"?

Is that Google's Sky Map for Android or some other application?
