A lot of letters in a lot of words don't show up.

The letters won't show up. Here's a screenshot; the same thing happens with the rest of the words in the program.

If you are running Stellarium on Windows: Try starting it from the "Stellarium (no OpenGL2)" shortcut in Stellarium's folder in the Start menu. If it works, you can copy that shortcut to the desktop and replace the original one.
