How do I get my local longitude and latitude coordinates into the Stellarium program?

O.K., I have just downloaded your program for the first time. Impressive! And many thanks for offering this for free, this is truly a service to humanity. But how do I register my local latitude and longitude coordinates into the program? I simply cannot figure this out.

Hi Zachary,
select location window from side bar or F6
- click on the map where your location is
- Edit the latitude, Longitude values and enter your location name and select your country
- Click the "Add to list button"
- Close and restart Stellarium
- From the location window again, search and select your newly added location
- You can make it your default location by checking the "Use as default" box.
