Shooting stars don't work

Asked by Tim Shinaver

I love the program and everything seems to work ok, however the "shooting star" feature isn't showing any shooting stars.
I don't know if it matters but after using it a few times I noticed under start, programs, Stellarium.... I have 2 Icons.... one just says Stellarium the other says Stellarium (no open GL2).. Dont know if this helps but I've included my sys info for my laptop.

    Thanks so much,
      Tim Shinaver

Do you can check visible of the "shooting stars" after set max count of it (ZHR is 144000) and some date from autumn?

yes that worked... so i tested it every 2 days up untill current and it seemed to work ok as long as I am after 2:00 am.. I don't know if thats who it is supposed to be but it does work that way? It would be a cool feature though to make it work whenever you want (even during the day since you can turn off the atmosphere) or make it run more natural like during meteor showers etc...
Anyway thank you for the help,
     Tim

The shooting star rate depends on the time and your position (you need to face earth direction in space to see more shooting stars)

Can you help with this problem?
