The control-S keyboard shortcut takes a screenshot and saves it. The location it is saved depends on your operating system. You can see (and choose) where screenshots are saved by looking in the config window (F2) / tools tab. Note that the default location might not be writable (I think on Windows & and Vista the desktop is the default and may not be writable depending on your system settings). If this is the case you should change the save folder to a suitable one.

Once you have a screenshot saved, attach it to your email as you would any other file.

Thank you Matthew -- You were `spot on.` The only problem now is that when I hit the `browse` button to change the default directory; the new dialogue box just flashes onto the screen for a second -- so I do not get the chance to change the default directory [You were correct in saying that it was the desktop].
I shall keep trying and re-read the settings.

You might have better luck if you change to windowed mode (press F11)... the file chooser dialog might just be acting weirdly in full screen mode.

Thank You Matthew -- it worked. I fail to understand how you can `think` in the manner you do. Perhaps one day I shall not need to bother anyone.

Grateful Thanks
