The iPhone port has been created by another developer, not Stellarium's core team. It may also be "illegal", as the GNU General Public License is not compatible with the Apple Store's Terms of Service. We still haven't decided what to do about it.

An Android port depends on a) the Qt libraries being ported to Android, b) finding a developer with an Android phone or finding an Android phone for a developer. :)

A Qt port for Android is in the works, but it doesn't support OpenGL yet (and Stellarium uses OpenGL for its graphics).

Hello,
As the dialogue is >2yrs old, I'd like to ask what the current status is?
Are the technical preconditions met and are developers around that are interested in porting the code?
Thanks for a brief update,
Digisus

Sorry for repeating again about it: are you speaking about the android version available on the Apple store? Or did you speak about a new release?
Sorry for the poor english.
