Pausing a running script (version 0.10.5)

Asked by JF Consigli

I use Stellarium 0.10.5 to write some scripts for educationnal astronomy. I'd like to know if it's possible to pause a script after it started.

The documentation I've found said it's possible by pressing "6" on the keyboard. I tried many times but no effect.

On the other hand, the "7" pauses the script but only for a little time : he resumes by its own.

Is it possible to stop manually a running script and to decide when it resumes ?

Many thanks,

Hi,

There's not presently a way to do this (using the 7 key should work, but doesn't at the moment) .

The closest thing which I can offer until the 7 key is fixed is to add various points a "waitForKey" function, which is itself a bit of a hack devised by qam1.

I hope that helps - will try to fix the 7 key thing for the next release.

Can you help with this problem?
