Customizing the Object Information

Asked by Aleph RabatiG

How can I customize the object information (displayed in the upper left corner upon selecting an object)?
For example -
- Show or hide certain lines (and not just selecting between full and short versions)?
- Manipulating the azimuth and elevation to be in different units?
- Freezing the azimuth and elevation?
Thanks,
Aleph

There are currently 3 levels of information detail which you can choose to display:

All
Short
None

These are selectable from the configuration dialog / main tab.

Exactly what information is displayed depends on the type of object and the amount of available information. For example, some dim stars have only the magnitude and location available, but brighter stars may also include spectral class, common name and so on.

Thanks Matthew.
Still, I need a little bit more. If there is no way to change what is displayed - is there a way to export this data so another program can handle it?

Not without modifying the program.

Can you help with this problem?
