Stellarium

Opening up a blank page.

My operating system is Windows XP. I have installed stellarium-0.10.6.1.exe, I double clicked to open up the program from the desktop and the result is a black blank page. I started clicking different parts of the inside of the window and did see a circle. However there are no other icons, words or a pulldown menu for guidance.

I would greatly appreciate your help on this. Thank you, Jeanette MacAdam

Hi Jeanette.

Usually display problems are caused by video drivers which do not properly support OpenGL.

Things to try:

* Choose the "Stellarium (No OpenGL2)" option from the start menu, see if that helps.
* Post your log.txt, system details, video card details and video driver type and version here.
* Update your video driver from the manufacturer's website.

I updated my video driver and it works GREAT!
