Asked by Stephen Morrison

No matter what time of day I open Stellarium and no matter how many times I enter the correct time zone it always starts at sunset. It saves the right location sometimes and sometimes it ends up in Paris. It doesn't save the right time, it's always 7:00pm. It works fine it just has a problem with time and location. How do I fix that??

Date and time:
Go to the "Navigation" tab in the configuration window (press F2 to open it), then under "Startup date and time" select "System date and time", then return to the "Main" tab of the same window and press the "Save settings" button.

Location:
Do you check the "Use as default" box in the location window after you change the location?

Yes I did, but it works now. Somehow my brother figured it out. Thank you :)
