Object information display failure

When clicking on an object, the object information text in the upper left corner flashes on for a split second and then changes to large blocks of grey and blue that flicker. I'm running Windows XP and haven't used Stellarium before.

This is a known bug with some graphics cards. The easiest way to fix it is to install a test build from here:
https://launchpad.net/stellarium/+download

If you still have problems with some of the text after installing the test build, try launching Stellarium from the second shortcut in the Start menu ("Stellarium (no OpenGL2)").

It works with the second shortcut ("Stellarium (no OpenGL2)"), but not with the first.
