Can I "import current time" into the time panel?

Setting time via the time panel works nicely. Resetting via the "Now"-button in the lower menu row also works. However, the time in the time panel remains on the previously set time. Is there a way to put the currently used time into the time panel?

ALso after a second look, it's not in the manual (or hidden in an non-obvious place), so I repeat my simple question. If no such function is available, may I suggest its implementation?

As far as I know, Fabien Chéreau is at the Euro-VO Technology Forum at the moment, so several issues have been "left hanging" until he returns.
