Have a look at:
     http://www.ubuntu.com/community/get-involved
In what are you interested and what is your current area of expertise ?
We search people able:
   to answer user question
   to fix code
   to translate
and some other tasks.

The most active persons in this part of launchpad (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-answer) are:
    https://launchpad.net/~marcobra
    https://launchpad.net/~markrijckenberg
    https://launchpad.net/~thkrueger
    https://launchpad.net/~olivier-delance (myself)
and
    https://launchpad.net/~andrew-woodhead666

Personally, I have an issue. I had a lot of time to answer question about installation of Ubuntu and boot process, as I was between two contracts. But I will be send to work in a client next week. And next week is delivery of Maverick 10.10. So I'm a little anxious about my ability to manage a big wave of questions. So you could help me.
1) The first way is to triage answers by affecting them to right packet. In my case, they are grub2 and ubiquity.
2) You can also gain knowledge about these issues, to answer yourself to these questions. I can help you in this.
But it's only an interested proposition. The most important id doing something you find interesting.

Perhaps there was a misunderstanding.
Are you interested in Ubuntu or on specific project Steadyflow ?
As I read lot of mails, I read sometimes too fast!
If you are interested on this project, if you click on project name, you should be able to locate the maintainer team.
