shp2pgsql equivalent tool?

I am a new user of Stado. I am particularly interested in the spatial features. Stado supports PostGIS features, which is nice. But I have found no documentation as to how to load a shape file into Stado. The Stado tool gs-loader.sh will not work with shape files.

With PostsreSQL/PosrGIS a shape file loading can be done with shp2pgsql tool. But this doesn't work with Stado. I am wondering if there is any tool for Stado to load shapefiles, which is equivalent to shp2pgsql ?
