Difference between Description field and releaseNotesLink field in XML file

What is the difference between the links that i can put in the <description> field vs. the link i can put in the <\sparkle:releaseNotesLink> field in the XML file?

No difference, but the former is deprecated and may be removed in future major updates to Sparkle.
