What copyright/license notices should be included when using Sparkle?

Asked by Johan Lundström

I have understood that Sparkle is MIT-licensed, and a License.txt file exists in the source code repository with the contents of that MIT-license. However when you download the zip from the homepage it contains a different License.txt with additional copyright notices (title "External licenses") mentioning an RSS reader, OpenSSL and SSLeay. From what I can see, this file doesn't exist anywhere in the repository.
When using Sparkle in a project of your own (just the framework) what notices and licensing info should I take from Sparkle?

Do you understand my question?

This is an excellent question, and I'm sorry it took me so long to address it.

You need to include the licenses for OpenSSL and SSLeay. You actually don't need to include the license for the RSS library, as Sparkle no longer uses it.

The bzr repository's copy of License.txt *should* include those licenses, and I've corrected that mistake.
