First of all, does Sparkle support authentication yet for closed betas?

When sparkle installs an update, does it update the entire bundle? I need to save info in some files inside the application bundle and need to keep them after updates are installed.

No, sorry. We're tracking that bug, though.

Yes, it updates the whole bundle.
