What version is the andymatuschak-Sparkle-01e8cf9 on GitHub?

Asked by Bill Tschumy

Andy,

We have the delta updates working thanks to your help. We needed to use the "andymatuschak-Sparkle-01e8cf9" code which is the latest on GitHub. How does this correspond to the 1.5 b6 version that you get from the Sparkle site? Is this b7? Will this be an official release sometime soon?

BTW: It seems like the delta updates won't start working for our customers until they do one more full update in order to get the new Sparkle framework with delta support. Right now we ship using the 1.5 b6 framework. Deltas didn't work for us until we tried updating using a release using the new framework. Does this sound right?

It is much newer. It doesn't have a version number, per-se, but it is kept stable. I don't know if or when I'll package up another pre-compiled release.

Yes, that is correct.
