nothing happens after calling checkForUpdates

Asked by s

Hi,
I wrote a Qt4 app and in the main.cpp I called SUUpdater's checkForUpdates(or checkForUpdatesInBackground), but nothing happens. When I called "checkForUpdateInformation", my delegate method "updater:didFindValidUpdate:" do get called, and the information inside SUAppcastItem do look ok.

My question is, I can know there is an update out there on the server, but, how can I launch the Sparkle GUI to ask user to update it?

Many Thanks.

San

Hm. I don't really know how Qt's application architecture works—we don't support Sparkle running in that environment. Is there even a run loop? Or something that behaves like a run loop? I guess I'd be surprised if this *did* work! Sorry not to be of more help.

Can you help with this problem?
