i need to know whether to install sparkle for gfxCardStatus

Ive just downloaded gfxCardStatus and in the documentation of FAQ page somewhere there is mention that Sparkle is used in the process of this app so, me - not being a software developer or whizz of any sort thought - without thinking it all the way through - that i had to download Sparkle.... However.. upon reading further the way Sparkle works im now thinking - all the way this time! - that it is simply saying and ackowledging the use of the app Sparkle in the development of and in conjunction with gfxCardStatus app!?!?! Am i right? Sounds really spacey reading this back before i send it off to you but the long and the short of it is do i have to install Sparkle myself or do you imply the use of it as a resource within the development of such apps as gfxCardStatus app already - alleviating the need for the likes of me to continue installing stuff i simply do not need on my mac - OBVIOUSLY im no developer, and maybe should be sending this to Cody the actual developer of gfxCardStatus - but i thought id cover my bases! Thanks for taking the time to read this which is not as technical as you would have hoped!
