How to format the last update check date string

Asked by BS0D

Hi,

I added an empty text field to my prefs which display the last update check date / time so I bound it to the SULastUpdateCheck value.

I would like to format it like so : "dd / mm / yy at HH:MM"

Do you have any idea what file I need to edit for that purpose, or exactly how I can go about doing that?

Thanks in advance!

I already did, but I don't know how I can use that code to format the string in SULastCheckTime. What file do I need to edit ?
Should I edit directly in the framework, or should that code go into my app controller ?

thanks

It should go in your app, in whichever controller owns the preferences interface. You can actually make these formatters in IB, though details of how that would work are out of scope for this venue.

Can you help with this problem?
