Request for PowerPC build on PPA

Asked by falkTX (Old)

Hi there.

I'm the developer of QtSixA, an application that can connect Sixaxis (and Keypads) joysticks to a Linux Machine and also control the desktop using it.

The problem is that PS3 users need to manual compile to get it to work (PS3 uses PowerPC, not available on the PPA).

I'm requesting something (I don't know how it works) that allows to the PPA to compile for PPC.

PPA link is https://launchpad.net/~falk-t-j/+archive/qtsixa

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for your query. Unfortunately this is not possible as we use Xen virtualisation for PPA builders and thus rely on whatever Xen will accommodate. At this time, Xen doesn't work on PPC.

Regards.

I actually already knew about this, but I was hoping for some kind of solution.

Isn't there anything I can do to achieve this?

Can you help with this problem?
