Skip files if they have already the wanted extention

Converting files in a complete tree incl. subdirectories should skip files which are in the correct form.
For example I have most files in in .flac but also in .wav. I want all files in .flac. So I want to put the the
upper directory for converting and SC should only convert files which are not in .flac.

This is already the case, if you use the "Add Folder" button, and selecting a filename pattern.
Is this not enough ?

Many Files are in *.ape and that isn't content in the filetype to select. So I have to choose *.*
