Losing tags during conversion to mp3

Hi,

since upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04 and soundconverter 3.0.0~alpha1+git20151209-1 from their repos, I'm getting "unknown" tags after conversions from FLAC to mp3. Most annoyingly the "year" tag.

I'm not entirely sure where to file this. I already filed a bug under "soundconverter (Ubuntu)" (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/soundconverter/+bug/1588061). But this might well affect the general soundconverter project or even be an upstream issue. But I don't know enough about what component is at fault here.

So: Any hints are appreciated.
