Convert to MP3?

How do I use this application to convert files to MP3? It does not seem to have any settings where I can change the output format of the application. I am using Ubuntu 11.10. OGG files are not useful for me because I am trying to encode music for use on an mp3 player while I am running.

It turns out I had to reboot my system for some reason after adding the codecs and then option for converting to MP3 appeared. It originally only gave me the option to convert to ogg.
