sound juicer extracts one track at a time even though multiple tracks are checked

hello, it's my 1st day of using ubuntu.
i have inserted an audio disc and by default all are checked to be extracted. however, i noticed that only one has been transferred (knowing that the sound juicer tab in the taskbar is gone), so i have to insert again the cd. still, after the second insertion, it only transfers one file.
all tracks are checked. is there a problem with my sound juicer?
