cant watch films or play internet radio on ubuntu - help please

I have tried installing flash player and other players. have installed greasemonkey for youtube. have installed moonlight. nothing works.

for watching movies try VLC media player and for internet radio try Amarok.

Can you give a link to the streams you are trying to play? Have you installed Ubuntu Restricted Extras?
