during remove the list jumps up and down

During removal the list of installed programms jumps up and down randomly. This is annoying when removing a number of application for instance just after a systems install.
It is unclear why and where the list jumps to

Hello theking2, and thank you for your question! As a matter of fact, this bug has just recently been fixed by mvo, and the fix is available in development version 5.1.14 of Software Center in Precise.

Here is the corresponding changelog entry. There is no bug number as a bug has never been filed for this, it seems:

* lp:~mvo/software-center/treeview-keep-state-on-db-cache-change:
   - restore the state of the installed view treeview when the
     the db or cache changes, such as on an app install or remove
