Is the bg color of detail pages hard coded?

Asked by Light on Flux

In the night my theme changes from light to dark.

But some some applications have problems with dark themes. USC is one of them. On the detail page of a package the bg color doesn't change. In this picture (see below) can you the problem with light letters on a light background.

Every other page in the usc has the right (dark) color, like starpage and lists.

So is this bg color hardcoded?

Hello Light on Flux! Thank you for your question. Indeed, the background color on the details page currently doesn't respond properly when using dark themes. This has been reported as bug 899878, which I will link to this question. Please note that there is a workaround in the bug report, but it sounds to me like that workaround (editing a file) will not be convenient for you as it appears you switch themes depending on lighting conditions.

Please check bug 899878 and set the bug as affecting you too, and keep an eye on that bug to follow the status of a fix.

Thanks again!
