when using the paypal payment method software can not be installed (interface does not work)

when attempting to install uplink the interface fails to connect properly with paypal even if credentials are supplied.
When I login in to launchpad it asks payment method when I select paypal it is expected that it transfer me to the paypal billing system but in fact it transitions to a shipping address page that is part of the paypal transaction. Then if the person does supply the correct credential after the launchpad address request screen the person attempting the purchase can not log in to paypal.
This hinders any purchase through ubuntu software center. How might I correct this?

Hello Daniel! Thank you for your question. I have just tried this process today and was able to successfully purchase an application using PayPal. Indeed, you do see a shipping address page first, and once you fill that in and submit it, you should see a small window open with a secure link to log in to your PayPal account. Once you have logged in and confirmed the purchase, the window should disappear and the purchase will be completed and the download begun.

If this is not the experience that you are having and you are still have difficulty making a purchase with PayPal, please respond here and we will help to get the problem resolved.
