Better theme integration in USC for Xubuntu

Asked by Rubén Vera

Hi all.

First of all, I don't know if this is the place to ask this (forgive me if I'm wrong).

I'm using Xubuntu 11.10 and brings many themes to use, apart from those that can be installed later. However the one that integrates well with the Software Center is Greybird, the default Xubuntu theme. The rest (which are coming and new) shows the icons and menu bars separated by ugly lines. In Greybird everything is more uniform and smooth.

What is the cause of this problem? Will this be fixed in future versions?

PS: Sorry for my bad english... :P

In fact, this problem is not solved but I close this question because it does not happen only to USC, but it also happens in other programs such as the update manager or the boot disks creator, to name a few.

I reported this issue at the Ubuntu's bugs section.
