Ability to save a list of applications?

I'd like to save and load a list of favorite applications like this for backup purposes: apt://couchdb,python-desktopcouch-application,gawk.
Is there any other method than typing all this by hand?

You can save list in Synaptic.
Try File>Save Markings As

Hi,
should be useful to save the list of the installed sw from Ubuntu Software Center instead of using Synaptic.
Just to save the applications and not all the packages: (ie skipping, libraries source code, kernel ...)
