Suggest a Featured Application - OpenShot

Is it possible to suggest an application to appear in the "Featured Applications" list in the Ubuntu Software Center?

I would like to suggest that "OpenShot Video Editor" is included. Sorry if this is not the correct method to request something like this. I already posted a question on Ubuntu Forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1585576) and sent an email to Jono Bacon. I have not received a reply using those methods, so I figured I would post a question here.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for your question. Indeed it is possible to suggest apps to be included in "Featured Applications". For the Lucid and Maverick cycles, the list selection process was tracked somewhat informally using wiki pages and associated discussion on the ubuntu-desktop mailing list:

For Natty, Jorge has suggested how we might better formalize this process in an email to the ubuntu-desktop mailing list (and mpt followed up with some very interesting suggestions):

Thanks for the detailed answer. I have subscribed to the ubuntu-desktop mailing list. I really hope they find a way to poll or survey the community at some point. I feel there are many great applications that are not being represented using the current process of wikis, mailing lists, and UDS.

For example, OpenShot is a great new application for editing videos, and our community is very active, and would surely vote on it if given the chance. But I would bet most new Ubuntu users have no idea that OpenShot exists and how much better it is than the built-in PiTiVi. So, I will be following this process more closely for Natty, and see what I can figure out. =)
